I'm Chicca and I'm back! it's been ages but since I finally graduated, now I have way more time for myself so here I am :)
I'm not gonna lie but high school kinda sucks so I will try to give you some tips and tell you things that I wish I knew before high school.
Pick classes that interest you
nobody really likes to study but it would be easier if you choose classes that you are really interested in, for example I always liked art, spending my time in museums and art galleries but also making art through the paper and camera, so I chose classes like photography and video-editing.
Communicate
one of the most important keywords in high school is "communication", it's really important to make a relation between you and your teachers, in case of any doubts about the lesson or just a talk about something of really important that is going on in your life.Credits
the college will always seem so far away, especially when you are a freshman but not preparing early is a huge mistake; join clubs and do extra projects to get college credits is really important.
Make friends
I know it sounds silly but pick someone you have something in common and make him/her your new friend, it's really important to share "school experience" with some else, join a group but remember don't change for someone else, be yourself.
be insecure + being bullied
when I was in middle school some guys bullied me for what I looked like and my biggest regret is that I didn't ask for help, I knew I had to but I didn't want to.
Nobody is perfect and nobody is 100% confident with himself, it's okay to be shy or insecure but no one, never ever, has to judge who you are or what you do so ask for help when someone gets too "annoying".
I don't really miss high school but it was a nice experience, I learned a lot about myself and I knew some amazing people.
Love you x
